Child Safety Seat
Inspection and Installation - The Monroe Police Department has three
certified
child safety seat technicians to assist residents on the safe and proper
installation of child seats. |

D.A.R.E Program is currently taught to the 5th and 8th grade
There are currently four (4) Dare Instructors.

Stranger Danger - Youth officers teach Stranger Danger to the elementary grade students about the safety in dealing with strangers |

D.U.I. Mock Crash at Masuk High School - Every other year, Monroe Police Officers along with Fire and EMS personnel conduct a mock motor vehicle crash demonstrating the consequences involving intoxicated drivers. This program is offered during prom season. |

Child Fingerprinting is conducted for parents to maintain a fingerprint record of their child. Bring your children to the station any time for fingerprinting services at no charge. Fingerprint records are kept by parents. |

Safety Seat Belt Campaigns Monroe
Police, in partnership with State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies participates in programs to promote safety seatbelt usage. |
